Posted on Jan 10, 2023I've installed the BESTÅ wall-mounted cabinet combination and I'm having trouble adjusting the shelves to fit my needs. Are there any specific steps or tools required to adjust the shelf height? Additionally, can I add more shelves if needed in the future?

Answered on Jan 12, 2023To adjust the shelf height on the BESTÅ wall-mounted cabinet:
1. Locate the shelf pins that are supporting the shelf. These are small plastic or metal pins that fit into holes on the cabinet sides.
2. Gently pull the shelf upwards to release it from the pins. Be careful not to tilt the shelf too much as items on it may fall off.
3. Reposition the shelf pins to the desired height. Ensure they are securely in place.
4. Lower the shelf back onto the pins, making sure it is level and stable.
As for adding more shelves, the BESTÅ system is designed to allow you to customize the interior. You can purchase additional BESTÅ shelves and shelf pins from IKEA to add more storage space as needed. Just make sure the new shelf dimensions fit within the cabinet frame
