It’s easy to keep the cords from your TV and other devices out of sight but close at hand, as there are several cord outlets at the back of the TV bench.
The cable outlet at the top lets cords run down smoothly into the TV bench.
The drawers and doors close silently and softly, thanks to the integrated soft-closing function.
The drawers make it easy to keep your belongings organized. The shelves behind the doors give you even more storage space.
The shelves are adjustable so you can customize your storage as needed.
The space-saving wall cabinets make the most of the wall area above your TV.
Optimize and organize your BESTÅ storage with boxes and inserts that you like.

Posted on Mar 09, 2024Can you provide a tutorial or guide on how to install the soft-closing function on the drawers? I'm having trouble getting them to close properly
Alice @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Mar 11, 2024To install the soft-closing function on the BESTÅ drawers:
1. Locate the soft-close mechanism that came with the drawer hardware. It should include a small metal arm and a spring.
2. Attach the metal arm to the inside of the drawer front, lining it up with the edge. Secure it in place using the provided screws.
3. Attach the spring to the other end of the metal arm, hooking it onto the frame of the drawer unit.
4. Adjust the position of the metal arm so that it makes contact with the drawer frame when the drawer is almost closed. This will activate the soft-close mechanism.
5. Test the drawer by closing it slowly. The soft-close function should engage and gently pull the drawer the rest of the way closed.
6. If needed, you can fine-tune the positioning of the metal arm to optimize the soft-close action.

Posted on Jun 09, 2023I have a BESTÅ TV storage combination and I'm having trouble with the soft-closing function not working properly. The drawers are still making a loud noise when they close.
Is there anything I can do to fix or adjust it?
Alice @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Jun 11, 2023The soft-closing function on the BESTÅ TV storage combination drawers can be adjusted to prevent the loud noise when closing. Here are the steps to troubleshoot and fix the issue:
1. Check if the drawers are properly installed. Ensure they are aligned correctly and the runners are securely attached to the cabinet frame.
2. Locate the soft-close mechanism on the drawer runners. There is usually an adjustment screw or lever that controls the closing speed and force.
3. Using a screwdriver, gently turn the adjustment screw or lever clockwise to increase the soft-closing force. This will slow down the drawer closing motion and reduce the noise.
4. Test the drawer after each small adjustment until you find the right balance between a smooth, quiet close and the drawer closing completely.
5. Repeat this process for each drawer that is making noise to get the soft-closing function working properly.
If the issue persists even after adjusting the soft-close mechanism, you may need to replace the drawer runners. Contact IKEA for assistance or replacement parts

Posted on Feb 24, 2023I have a question regarding the soft-close function on my Besta TV storage combination. Sometimes, when I close the doors or drawers, they don't fully close and remain slightly ajar. What could be causing this issue?
Is there a way to adjust or clean something to ensure a proper closure?

Posted on Sep 15, 2022I want to install the BESTÅ TV storage combination, but I'm having trouble attaching the wall cabinets to the wall. Can you provide me with a detailed guide or instructions on how to do it?
Alice @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Sep 17, 2022To attach the wall cabinets to the wall for the BESTÅ TV storage combination:
1. Locate the wall studs where you want to mount the cabinets. Use a stud finder to identify the locations.
2. Hold the wall cabinet in the desired position against the wall and mark the screw hole locations on the wall using a pencil.
3. Pre-drill pilot holes at the marked locations using a drill bit slightly smaller than the screws provided.
4. Secure the wall cabinet to the wall by driving the screws provided directly into the wall studs through the pre-drilled holes.
5. Ensure the cabinet is level and firmly attached to the wall before moving on to the next cabinet.
6. Repeat steps 2-4 for any additional wall cabinets, making sure to align them properly.
7. Once all the wall cabinets are installed, you can then attach the TV bench to the wall cabinets following the assembly instructions.
