Posted on Apr 11, 2024I have a problem with the soft-closing function on one of my drawers. It doesn't close properly anymore and gets stuck halfway. How can I fix this or do I need to replace it?

Answered on Apr 13, 2024The soft-closing mechanism on the drawer may have become worn or misaligned over time. First, try adjusting the drawer by loosening the screws that attach the drawer front and sliding it back into place. You can also try lubricating the mechanism with a silicone-based lubricant. If that doesn't resolve the issue, the soft-closing mechanism may need to be replaced. You can order a replacement part from IKEA and follow their instructions to install it. This should restore the smooth, soft-closing function of the drawer
