Posted on Nov 05, 2023I have a question about the EKET storage combination. How do I attach the feet to the unit, and are they adjustable in height as well?

Answered on Nov 07, 2023The EKET storage combination comes with adjustable feet that can be attached to the base of the unit. To attach the feet:
1. Locate the pre-drilled holes on the bottom of the EKET cabinet.
2. Insert the threaded end of the adjustable feet into the holes and turn clockwise to secure them in place.
3. Once the feet are attached, you can adjust their height by turning them clockwise to raise the unit or counterclockwise to lower it. This allows you to compensate for any uneven floors.
The adjustable feet provide up to 1 inch (2.5 cm) of height adjustment, so you can easily level the EKET storage combination to ensure it sits evenly on your floor

Posted on Feb 12, 2023I have a few issues with the Eket storage combination. The door doesn't open smoothly and it feels like something is stuck.
Is there a trick to lubricate the hinges or should I take it to an Ikea store for assistance?

Answered on Feb 14, 2023To troubleshoot the issue with the door not opening smoothly, you can try the following:
First, check if the hinges are properly aligned and tightened. Loosen the hinge screws slightly, adjust the door position, then retighten the screws. This can help eliminate any binding or sticking.
If that doesn't resolve the issue, you can try lubricating the hinges. Use a small amount of a lightweight, acid-free lubricant, such as silicone-based furniture polish or a dry lubricant spray. Apply it directly to the hinge pins and work the door back and forth to work the lubricant in.
If the problem persists after trying these steps, it's best to take the unit to your local IKEA store. The in-store technicians will be able to further inspect the hardware and provide additional troubleshooting or replacement parts if needed
