Create unique and varied patterns on your BESTÅ with the help of the visible grains on HEDEVIKEN doors.
A wall-mounted TV unit creates a clean, airy look and there are no legs that get in the way when you vacuum the floor.
It’s easy to keep the cords from your TV and other devices out of sight but close at hand, as there are several cord outlets at the back of the TV bench.
The cable outlet at the top lets cords run down smoothly into the TV bench.
The shelves are adjustable so you can customize your storage as needed.
You can choose to use either the soft-closing or push-open function. The push-opener lets you open the doors with just a light push, while the soft-closing hinges makes sure they close silently and softly.
Optimize and organize your BESTÅ storage with boxes and inserts that you like.

Posted on Dec 05, 2022I have a BESTÅ TV bench with doors in black-brown/Hedeviken oak veneer, and I'm having trouble closing the doors smoothly. They seem to be sticking or binding when I try to shut them. What could be causing this issue?
Kenzo @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Dec 07, 2022The issue with the doors sticking or binding when closing the BESTÅ TV bench is likely due to the hinges. Over time, the hinges can become misaligned or wear down, causing the doors to not close smoothly.
First, try adjusting the hinges. There are typically screws on the hinges that allow you to make small adjustments to the door position. Gently tighten or loosen the screws until the doors are aligned and closing properly.
If adjusting the hinges doesn't resolve the issue, the hinges may need to be replaced. Replacement hinges are available from IKEA. Simply remove the old hinges and install the new ones, making sure they are properly aligned and tightened.
You can also try lubricating the hinges with a small amount of silicone-based lubricant. This can help reduce friction and allow the doors to close more smoothly
