Posted on Apr 15, 2024I'm having some issues with the BROR shelving unit. The back panel is loose and keeps falling off. Can you provide instructions on how to secure it properly?
Kenzo @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Apr 17, 2024To secure the loose back panel on your BROR shelving unit, follow these steps:
1. Ensure all screws on the back panel are tightened properly. Use a screwdriver to check and tighten any loose screws.
2. If the screw holes have become enlarged, you can try adding small wooden dowels or plastic anchors to the holes before reinserting the screws. This will help the screws grip better.
3. Make sure the back panel is aligned correctly with the shelving unit frame before screwing it in. Double-check that it is flush against the frame.
4. Apply a small amount of wood glue or construction adhesive to the back panel edges before screwing it in. This will help hold it in place securely.
5. Once the back panel is secured, you can also consider adding L-brackets or corner braces to further reinforce the connection between the panel and the frame.
Let me know if the back panel is still giving you trouble after trying these steps
