The issue with the top drawer on your BRIMNES 4-drawer chest getting stuck and being difficult to pull out is likely due to the drawer slides not functioning properly. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and fix the problem:

1. Check the drawer slides: Ensure the drawer slides are properly aligned and not obstructed by any debris or objects. Wipe down the slides with a clean, dry cloth to remove any dirt or dust buildup.

2. Lubricate the drawer slides: Apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant or furniture polish to the drawer slides. This will help reduce friction and allow the drawer to slide more smoothly.

3. Adjust the drawer alignment: If the drawer is still sticking, you may need to adjust the alignment. Locate the screws that attach the drawer slides to the chest and gently loosen them. Then, carefully adjust the drawer position and retighten the screws.

4. Replace the drawer slides: If the above steps do not resolve the issue, the drawer slides may be worn out or damaged and need to be replaced. You can purchase replacement drawer slides from IKEA or a hardware store and follow the instructions to install them
